Privacy Policy for REM Slide
How REM Slide handles gameplay, advertising, purchases, and privacy choices.
Effective date: October 10, 2026
1. Introduction
This policy explains how REM Slide, a sliding-puzzle game published by REM Play, handles information. You can play without registering or signing in to a REM Play account. Third-party services may process device, advertising, purchase, and usage information as described below.
2. About REM Slide
REM Slide 1.0 is planned to include free Classic Numbers (3×3, 4×4, 5×5), Daily Numbers (4×4), and Daily Image (4×4) puzzles. Planned Premium content includes Classic Image puzzles (3×3, 4×4, 5×5) and My Photo puzzles created from an image selected by the player. The game includes Undo, Flow Mode, a timer, move counter, local save and resume, and display, sound, and haptic preferences.
3. Information We Process
Depending on your use of the game and which integrations are active in your installed version, REM Slide and its providers may process locally stored gameplay information, advertising-related device information and identifiers, consent choices, technical usage or diagnostic information, and Google Play purchase status. The game does not require your name or email address to play.
4. Local Gameplay Data
REM Slide stores puzzle progress, saved sessions, move and Undo history, completion statistics, daily puzzle state and streaks, and preferences such as theme, language, sound, and haptics on your device. REM Play does not provide a gameplay cloud-save service. Clearing app storage or uninstalling may remove local data, subject to Android backup and restore behavior.
5. Advertising
REM Slide 1.0 is intended to show Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) interstitial advertisements at gameplay transitions, with frequency limits, not during active puzzle solving. Google's advertising technology may process advertising identifiers and device-related information for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention, depending on your device, region, and privacy choices. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized where supported. Buying Remove Ads or Premium stops future in-game ad requests when the entitlement is active; it does not delete advertising data previously processed by Google.
6. Consent and Privacy Choices
The planned release uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present and manage advertising privacy choices where required. The choices available depend on your region and applicable law; not everyone sees the same dialog. Device privacy settings may provide additional controls. Choices made through UMP relate to advertising and do not necessarily control all other services.
7. My Photo and Selected Images
The planned Premium My Photo feature will let players voluntarily select an image to create a sliding puzzle. The intended design processes images on the device, without uploading them to REM Play servers or using them for advertising personalization. The final photo-selection mechanism, permissions, whether original or derived images persist locally, and deletion behavior are not yet verified. These details must be checked against the final app before release. Avoid granting broad media-library access where a scoped system picker is sufficient.
8. Analytics and Diagnostics
REM Slide may use gameplay analytics or diagnostics if those integrations are enabled in the distributed app version. Such services could process gameplay sessions, puzzle completions, technical information, or advertising and purchase-related events. No analytics provider has been confirmed for REM Slide 1.0. Any provider and its processing must be verified and disclosed before the relevant build is distributed. This policy does not claim that analytics is gated by UMP. Crash diagnostics, if enabled, may process error reports and device or app technical information.
9. In-App Purchases
REM Slide 1.0 is planned to offer two optional one-time, non-subscription Google Play purchases: remove_ads and premium_unlock. Google Play handles payments and associated transaction data. The game may receive purchase identifiers, status, and entitlement information needed to verify and restore access. REM Play does not directly process your payment-card details.
10. Premium and Remove Ads
remove_ads disables advertising but does not unlock Premium puzzles. premium_unlock is planned to unlock Classic Image and My Photo puzzles and remove advertising. Purchase entitlements can be restored using Google Play Billing. The game may keep a local cache of entitlement status; purchase ownership is associated with Google Play, not only the device. Purchases are not promised to transfer to other platforms.
11. Third-Party Services
Planned services for REM Slide 1.0 include Google Mobile Ads, UMP, and Google Play Billing. Any additional analytics or diagnostics provider must be identified here when the actual release integration is confirmed. Providers apply their own privacy policies and technical processing practices.
12. Data Sharing
Information may be shared with the relevant third-party services to provide ads, manage consent, verify purchases, and, if enabled, measure gameplay or diagnose errors. REM Play does not operate a player-account database or custom gameplay cloud-sync server.
13. Data Retention and Deletion
Local game data can be removed using Android app-storage controls. Uninstalling may also remove it, depending on backup and restore settings. Third-party providers retain and delete information according to their own policies and applicable requirements. REM Play cannot guarantee deletion of independently controlled provider records or Google Play purchase history. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or deletion requests.
14. International Data Processing
Third-party services may process information outside your country of residence. Applicable protections and rights depend on your location and the providers involved.
15. Children's Privacy
The final Google Play target-age declaration is not yet confirmed. Advertising and consent configurations must be consistent with the selected audience and applicable requirements; the policy will be updated if necessary.
16. User Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent where consent applies. Contact REM Play for requests concerning data under its control; requests for independently controlled provider data may need to be made to that provider.
17. Data Security
REM Play uses established platform and service-provider technology. Security practices for third-party data are governed by the relevant providers. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
18. Changes to This Policy
REM Play may update this policy when the game, its integrations, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when the policy is updated.
